The work
Music, Theatre and Dance can be structured to develop creativity, critical thinking and collaboration as deliberately as they develop performance.
I work with school leadership and Performing Arts departments to build programmes that are coherent from one stage to the next, clear in what they assess, and durable beyond any one teacher. The work is developed alongside the teachers who deliver it, and what is built belongs to the school.
Programme design
Curriculum structure across the secondary years: what students learn, how it builds over time, and how theory, practical work, process and reflection fit together.
Assessment and moderation
Assessment criteria, evidence of process and shared standards that keep judgments consistent from teacher to teacher, year to year and across disciplines.
Programme continuity
Planning, documentation and departmental systems that stay with the school and keep the programme coherent through changes in staff.
